Avangarde Kids Kindergarten is accredited by the Ministry of Education for the national curriculum, so the educational process is conducted in Romanian.
The instructional-educational process is based on the harmonious combination of traditional and modern methods maximizing the learning potential and abilities of each child by stimulating his attention and creativity, having as main objectives:
- development of motivation for knowledge;
- cultivating independent thinking, spontaneity and creativity;
- development of confidence in one’s own strengths;
- knowledge and awareness of emotions.
Compulsory activities in the national curriculum are carried out in Romanian. Language development activities, conversations and other recreational activities are conducted in English, based on the British curriculum.
English lessons are taught to the children daily by the English teacher, based on professional performance and experience in the preparation of preschoolers.
Programme
At Avangarde Kids kindergarten we offer a balanced daily program for children that includes activities in experiential areas, games and free-choice activities, as well as personal development activities that include routines, transitions, afternoon activities and optional activities, carried out in a socio-educational climate suitable for quality, European-level training, a creative environment of development for all and everyone.
The daily experiential areas according to the programme are as follows:
LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION
The activities and games chosen by the teachers aim to develop oral expression skills, understanding and correct use of the meanings of oral verbal structures. At the same time, through the activities, we aim to develop creativity and expressiveness of oral language and to educate the phonetically, lexically and syntactically correct expression of young children.
PSYCHOMOTOR FIELD
Physical education, gymnastics or aerobics activities help to develop basic motor skills, stimulate intellectual, willpower and emotional qualities, in order to apply the learned skills independently, but also to learn hygiene and sanitary skills to maintain health.
THE FIELD OF MAN AND SOCIETY
The Education for Society activity aims to educate positive traits of will and character, and the formation of a positive attitude towards self and others, and the ability to relate. The knowledge and respect of the rules of behaviour in society, the development of cooperative, pro-social, pro-active behaviours are the goals of this activity.
The practical activity aims at the formation and consolidation of practical skills specific to the level of motor development, the enrichment of knowledge about materials and their characteristics, as well as about working techniques necessary to process them in order to realize creative projects.
FIELD OF SCIENCE
The mathematical activity aims to develop pre-mathematical intellectual operations, the ability to understand and use numbers, figures, units of measurement, geometric figures, as well as the ability to solve problem situations, by acquiring appropriate strategies.
Environmental literacy is a category of activity designed to stimulate curiosity about explaining and understanding the world around us through exploration. The development of the ability to observe and establish causal, spatial and temporal relationships, the use of appropriate language in the presentation of phenomena in nature and the environment, as well as the formation and practice of skills of care and protection of the environment, in order to educate a positive attitude towards it, are also objectives that are intended to be achieved through instructional and educational activities carried out in our kindergarten.
AESTHETIC AND CREATIVE FIELD
Music Education activities through which we aim to train the ability to perceive the world of sound and music, the ability to express oneself through music, but also to introduce preschoolers to the great values of national and universal musical creation.
Plastic Education activities that aim to form working skills for the realization of drawings, paintings, models and to stimulate expressiveness and creativity through artistic-plastic language.

9:00 – 9:15 – Morning Meeting
9:15 – 9:45 – Breakfast (in the dining room)
9:45 – 10:15 – English Language
10:15 – 10:30 – Activities in the artificial saltpan/outdoor
10:30 – 10:45 – Morning snack
10:45 – 11:15 – Activities by experiential areas (language and communication/math/man and society etc.)
11:15 -11:45 – Free choice of activities by interest
11:45 – 12:30 – Physical education and sport/outdoor activities
12:30 – 13:00 – Lunch (dining room)

AVANGARDE KIDS CLUBS
The optional extracurricular activities, the clubs, harmoniously complement the framework of teaching activities and offer parents the opportunity to discover the children’s various artistic or intellectual skills.

A responsible adult is formed from the earliest years of life, which is why we teach our little ones that each of us must respect the values that teachers guide us to use every day.
AVANGARDE KIDS KINDERGARTEN MENU
AVANGARDE KIDS attaches great importance to healthy eating by offering children a variety of specially chosen foods and tastes, while also teaching the little ones the best food choices for a healthy life.
Meals are catered according to a varied and balanced menu, suitable for children over 18 months and children with food allergies.
The menu is drawn up by a nutritionist and approved by our medical staff, and is designed to meet the exact needs of the children enrolled at the Avangarde Kids private nursery.
